Victor Diaz is the chief movie critic and film reporter for News 8 Austin, covering everything from Hollywood blockbusters to obscure independent and foreign films. You'll also see Victor exploring electronic culture in "Websightings," reporting sports, news, and traffic.

Victor is a lifelong Texan, graduating from Round Rock High School and Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University – San Marcos). He joined News 8 Austin in January 2002 and has also served as an assignment editor, producer and photographer.
