Marjorie Baumgarten is a film critic and senior editor at the Austin Chronicle, where she has worked in many capacities since its founding in 1981. She has been the Chronicle's Film Reviews editor for the last 20 years. Baumgarten has served on past film juries at the Seattle and Slamdance Film Festivals, and is a member of the Association of Women Film Journalists.
