Charles Ealy is an assistant features editor at the Austin American-Statesman. Before coming to the Statesman in 2006, he worked at the Dallas Morning News for almost 20 years, where he helped start the paper's weekly Movies section in the late 1990s. He regularly attends the Cannes Film Festival and has reported from festivals in Berlin and Toronto as well, for the Dallas Morning News, the Statesman and National Public Radio's "All Things Considered."
